Every year, I make a blog book for my grandma in Japan
since she cannot visit my blog on Internet.
e,g, Here is a blog book for 2006-2008.

毎年、日本に住んでいるおばあちゃんのために、
おばあちゃんはインターネットを使って私のブログを
見ることが出来ないので、ブログを印刷して本にして送っています。
例えば、こんな感じで。

This year, I used blub.
今年はblubという会社を使って印刷しました。

My landlord cut down this banana tree which was standing
in the backyard. Yet, as you can see, the core of the tree
grew again. Life Power...

大家さんが家の裏に生えていた、バナナの木を切りました。
でもすぐに幹の中心が育っていきました。
生命の力。

On Maui, lately I see Nissan Cube driving around a lot.
最近になって、日産のCubeをよくマウイで見かける気がする。

I liked the colors of my friend's earnings.
色が好きだった、友達のイヤリング

I bought seaweed salad at Mana Foods, and when I came home,
I opened the container, and on the back of the lid, the
seaweed made a Chinese character meaning "father."
So I called my dad after I saw this :)
He was fine, though.

Mana Foodsでおかずとして、海藻サラダを買って
帰ってきて、蓋を開けたら、蓋の裏に海藻によって出来た「父」という字が。
それで何となく父に電話してみた。
元気だったけど。

I was given all these beautiful vegetables and fruits by the PTA
of the school I work at. Very grateful.

教えている小学校のPTAから、こんなにおいしそうな
野菜と果物をもらいました。ありがたや。

My friend Pam, a tap dance teacher, Mark, and me
（友達のパムと、タップダンスの先生であるマークと、私）

On Maui, I took my very first tap dance class with Mark Mendonca.
It was very exciting and fun to try something new.
My friend Pam runs a business called Ease in Motion.

マウイで生まれて初めてのタップダンスのクラスを受けてみました。
マーク・メンドンカという先生のクラス。
新しいことに挑戦してみるのは、楽しかったなり。

ずっと直そう、直そうと思いつつ直せてなかった
ロングボードをやっと直しに出してきた。
みんなも困ったらグランパに相談して。

I got sick at the end of April.
I woke up with an intense stomachache in the middle of night,
and from that point, my body temperature rose rapidly,
and the next day, I was in bed all day literally with joint pains.
My friend Mika came and helped me.
By the way, the photo above is me
well, not really. It's my best friend, monkey girl holding the thermometer :)

四月の終わりにはベッドの住人だった私。
ある晩、寝てると急激な腹痛で目が覚め、そこから
熱がバーっと上がり、翌日はベッドから出られない状態に。
体の節々が痛かった。友人のみかさんが来てくれて助かった。
ちなみに上の写真は私。
じゃなくて、体温計を抱えた親友のモンキーちゃん。
