願いをお腹に入れましょうか。

The past week was a packed week.
There was somewhere to go after school everyday.
Monday - dentist and immigration office
Tuesday - babysitting
Wednesday - chiropractic
Thursday - working with an artist (helping her to market her work), collecting rent for my friend
Friday - weekly grocery shopping, bank, and other errands
Saturday - Odissi class, banana bread making with a friend, teaching Izanai Yosakoi class, and a dinner with friends (she's been inviting me over a month, but I didn't have any time until this Sat. Phew, I finally made it...)

In a busy time like this, I like to keep my heart and antenna open to beautiful details of my daily life. "Be here now" as many great teachers have said.

Sincere 'thank you' to all of my friends for caring and loving support.

先週は予定がギュウギュウと詰まった週でした。
毎日、教師の仕事の後に何かありました。
（月）　歯医者さんとイミグレーションオフィスに用事があったので行ってきた
（火）　ベビーシッティング
（水）　カイロプラクティック
（木）　あるアーティストのマーケティングのお手伝いと、ある友人の土地に住んでいる借家人から12月の家賃集め
（金）　久しぶりの食料品の買い出し、銀行、その他の用事
（土）　オディッシィクラス、友人とバナナブレッドを作り、イザナイよさこいクラスを教えさせてもらい、その後友人とディナー（ずっと呼んでくれてたのだけど、なかなか時間が取れなかった。一ヶ月後にやっと行けた）

いそがしくても、心は亡くしてないから大丈夫。こんなときだからこそ、日々の生活の美しい営みに心とアンテナを広げておきたい。「今、ここに。」だね。

私のことを心から想ってくださる友人たちに心から感謝。

上のお星様の形をしたフルーツは、「スターフルーツ」と呼ばれるものです。
これを切ると、お星様になります。

The start fruits grow on trees like this.
こんな風にたわわに生って（なって）います。

Tangerine's season!!
タンジュリン（温州みかん）の季節になりました！

My friend R gave me these tangerines. They're lining up nicely.
友人Rさんがくださったタンジュリンたちが、お行儀良く並んでおります。

Banans my friend K gave me have been all eaten up!
I thought that this "carcass" was as beautiful as when there were fully ripen yellow bananas.
The mother nature fed us. Its mana (power) has been transformed into our bodies.

以前のブログにあった友人Kからもらったバナナは
このように無事（笑）全て食されました！
この残った「残骸」が、たわわにバナナを実らせていたときと同様に
美しいと思えて仕方なく、写真を撮りました。
母なる自然はこうして私たちに食べ物を与えてくださり、
そのマナ（パワー）は私たちの身体に移っていくのですね。

At my friend A's house, we made banana bread (again)!
We did not have another bowl, so we used this beautifully handmade
black ceramic bowl. I felt like a witch making a secret potion (haha!)
友人Aの家でバナナブレッドを作っているところ。
大きなボウルが無かったので、この黒い陶器を使って
材料を混ぜているところ。魔女みたい？

じゃーん。よく出来ました。

On Saturday night, my friend Emi invited me to a dinner for my belated birthday
celebration and to farewell Emi's room amte who is leaving the island soon.
There was our friend April, too.
This blue and white plate set tickled my heart. I loved it.

土曜日の夜は友人のエミさんが、（一ヶ月遅れだけどと言いながら）
私の誕生日ディナーに招待してくれました。
友人のエイプリルも来てくれました。
今月末アメリカ本土に戻ってしまうエミさんのルームメイトの送迎会も込めて。
この青と白のお皿のセットが心をくすぐりました。

Emi found this gluten free cake for me at the farmer's market.

地球の反対側を照らすために、地平線の向こうへ沈んでいくお日様。
お日様、また明日。いつもいつもありがとう。
