The famous Komoda Bakery is in Makawao, a walking distance from where I live. I like their sign, especially the "and" part. It makes me happy, going up like that.

Sarala's daughter (7 years old) and I baked brownie together.
サララ先生の娘（７歳）とブラウニーを焼きました。
But I baked too long. The bottom got burned, so I scarped the top layer and made it into balls - "Brownie Balls."
でも悲しいことに、焼き過ぎました。下の部分は焦げてしまったので、上の方の部分を削ぎ取って丸めて「ブラウニーボール」にしました。
My friend Andrea is an amazing seamstress.
I had found a really cute dress at a second hand store in Japan, but it had a pretty big stain, and dry cleaning did not remove it, so I asked Andrea if she could make the same dress but with a different material, and she did!!! I ran into my friend, Anna at a local event. I hadn't seen her for a long time, so I was happy! This super cute baby is Anna's friend's.
ある地元のイベントで長い間会っていなかった、友達のアナにばったり会いました。嬉しかった。このすっごくかわいい赤ちゃんはアナの友達の赤ちゃん。
After school entered the winter break, the first thing I did on the first day of winter break is to take my car down to the Honda Dealer to do a semi-annual check up (oil change and so on). My appointment was 7 am, so I left at 6:30 am. I was so sleepy. The reward was this beautiful view.
学校が冬休みに入って一番最初にしたことは、車をホンダのディーラー屋さんに半年に一度する点検に持っていったこと。オイルチェンジとか、タイヤのローテンションとかしてもらいます。予約が朝の７時だったので、家を６時半に出ました。眠かった・・・。でもご褒美はこのきれいな眺め。
I don't have my own Christmas tree, but I enjoyed seeing my friend's. This one has a train going around :)
